- Working within the finance leadership team of this large international group.
- You will report to the CFO and lead the delivery of global tax internal and external reporting, risk management, compliance and the Group's Tax Strategy and Policies
- Maintain and further develop documentation of policies and procedures for the group including those which will ensure key tax controls are in place to maintain a strong internal control environment
- Manage global risk within a framework, optimising overall global tax positions
- Manage international cross border transactions and activities
- Support M&A team and Board on transactions including due diligence, valuation and integration
- Work closely with the business advising them on the tax implications of new business initiatives
- Responsibility for the Transfer Pricing framework and policy then establish the best possible position for the group regarding transfer pricing
- Lead on indirect tax, including improving the maturity of processes and controls, mitigating risks
- Maintain and develop an open and effective working relationship with HMRC and other tax authorities as appropriate
- Provide the Group with insight and guidance on the international tax environment
- Determine the optimal structure of the Global Tax team and lead, coach and develop direct reports, achieving knowledge sharing across the team to minimise single points of dependency
