Are you based in or near Watford and looking to join a world renowned organisation? Then this is the opportunity for you!
This leading professional services firm has a longstanding reputation for excellence. It offers audit, technology, deal advisory, and tax services to every corner of the world. Employees have the creative freedom and sufficient support to realise their potential in this collaborative corporate culture.
The role at hand is an in-house role which is unique for a generally client-facing company. You will be working within the Partnership Tax Team as an Overseas Tax Manager, dealing with the expatriate and corporate tax compliance matters that arise from working in an international business. As an Overseas Tax Manager, one of the main responsibilities will include the project management of all overseas tax reporting and filing requirements, specifically in the US and Swiss regions.
To be considered for this job, then you will be CTA/ACA/ACCA/ATT qualified, or equivalent, and ideally, have previous experience in either UK corporate tax or expatriate tax. If you are experienced in expatriate tax, your skills as a corporate tax manager will be supported and vice versa. US corporate tax will also be advantageous, however, you should be familiar with UK corporate tax. Furthermore, as a manager, you will need to be able to effectively lead, delegate and advise more junior members of the team.
In return, you will receive a competitive salary and benefits such as a car allowance, medical scheme and bonus. This company also offers flexible working hours that can be agreed on to best suit your needs. This role also avoids the pressure of having to generate business opportunities for the firm, and there is never a dull moment given that you will be dealing with multiple regions across the world.
