International Tax Manager – Slough

As International Tax Manager in a global team of 20, your principle responsibility will be to support on the international compliance activities. Another key element of this position will be to support on a wide variety of international tax advisory projects as well as support preparation of transfer pricing documentation and indirect tax.

This is a great opportunity for someone who trained in corporate/international tax and who wants an opportunity to broaden their expertise in Transfer Pricing and VAT and gain a fuller exposure to the tax impact of transactions and business operations.

 

Key duties include:

  • Provide support/input into UK Corporation Tax return preparation, in particular with respect to international aspects
  • Managing overseas corporate tax filings
  • Preparing the various international tax compliance disclosures (CBCR, CFCs etc.)
  • Manage advisor preparation of overseas tax returns from the sourcing of information required through to the presentation of completed tax return and computation for review
  • Support group budgeting and financial reporting in particular in respect of overseas entities, e.g. preparation of IFRS tax disclosures, forecasting overseas tax payments
  • Provide ad-hoc tax review and advice on sales and purchase contracts, new business activities and transactions
  • Support Head of Tax on M&A/transformation projects
  • Review and monitor global opportunities for R&D tax incentives
  • Support tax governance activities
  • Support on documenting compliance with the Group’s Transfer Pricing Policies and APAs
  • Assisting the Head of Tax in transfer pricing and international tax analysis
  • Support with ad hoc VAT and Sales Tax advice

About you:

  • ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent
  • Corporate tax or international tax trained
  • Experience working with big corporate clients
  • Trained at Big 4 or Top 10 firm is preferred but not essential
  • Experience in indirect tax and/or transfer pricing is a bonus but not essential
  • Able to explain complex tax matters in plain language
