International chartered accountancy practice looking for M&A transaction tax advisors. (Manchester, £Comp.)
Your new company I am currently working with a Manchester based Big 4 chartered accountancy practice who are looking to appoint new key employees to their large Mergers & Acquisitions transactions tax team. They are going through a period of sustained growth and as such, are looking to consider applications from finance professionals, with varied experiences and career histories. Your new role For this M&A job, this Manchester based office has positions available in the manager, senior manager and director levels. You'll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions. You will work across various aspects of merger and acquisition transactions such as restructuring, divestiture, partnerships and insolvency through the transaction life cycle. Corporate restructures will also be a key part of this role.
What you'll need to succeed At the senior level, you will have experience working on the transactions side of M&A and be expert in delivering tax advice to clients. The Deals Tax team works on a wide range of private equity, real estate and other transactions, advising both buyers and sellers on the tax implications of the transactions they undertake so an awareness of projects related to these is essential. You will be ACA or CTA qualified. This job is to join a fast-paced environment that is esteemed for being competitive so a desire to succeed is key.
