6 director chartered accountancy practice seeking Mixed Tax Assistant Manager/ Manager for Rochdale office

From the Rochdale office, this firm offers tax compliance services tailored to meet client needs in addition to specific technical advice for a diverse client base.

Your new role
As a Mixed Tax Manager, you will be responsible for the corporate tax compliance operations which will involve reviewing computations/tax returns prepared by junior members of the team and managing technical queries raised by the accounts team responsible for preparing client financial statements. You will understand all client structures to ensure all related UK compliance aspects are managed/or notified to the tax director. You will also be responsible for the preparation and review of Self-Assessment Tax Returns, Annual Tax on Enveloped Dwellings Returns for your clients and preparing and reviewing P11Ds. You will also ensure all time/deadline sensitive tasks are managed throughout the tax year. You will assist with ad-hoc research assignments and drafting technical documentation, prepare reports containing tax advice and support the tax director on more complex client situations.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of both corporate and personal taxes and be able to lead the team, implement efficient processes and be willing to learn and take on advisory work. You will preferably CTA/ATT qualified and an excellent written and oral communicator.

What you'll get in return
In return for your efforts you will receive a salary of between £35,000-£50,000 (Dependent on experience)and 20 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday.
