One of the leading accountants and business advisers in Chester and Wrexham, supporting over 500 businesses across Cheshire and North Wales. Having been established for 30 years this reputable firm are looking to recruit an experienced Mixed Tax Manager for their offices in central Chester.
Your new role
As a Tax Manager you will oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, managing the preparation and submission of personal and corporation tax returns, along with P11D's. You will spot any tax planning opportunities and advise accordingly, prepare R&D reports and patent box claims and handle any other ad-hoc enquiries as they may arise. You will offer an excellent level of an customer service, ensuring statutory submissions are processed before HMRC deadlines.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful candidate for this role, you will have experience in managing a mixed tax portfolio of clients, handling both compliance and tax planning work. You will ideally have experience in utilising IRIS, along with good practical knowledge in using Word and Excel. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and will ideally be CTA qualified or equivalent.
