Issues are as diverse as R&D, transactions, shareholder matters, succession, IHT and CGT, as well as VAT. The right person will either be an existing manager or an assistant manager looking for a promotion, who is able to demonstrate an ability to build good client relationships and has experience of advisory work. Whether the person has a private client, corporate or mixed tax background is not crucial as more important is a desire to develop advisory work and strong client skills.
