Over the years, this firm has developed a number of industry specialism's, such as; the charity and voluntary sector, legal and medical profession, contractors and start-up businesses, enabling them to be finely tuned and offer highly focused services in these sectors. This firm are currently experiencing considerable growth and are therefore looking to recruit a number of heads at various levels in Tax.
Your new role
As a personal tax assistant manager within this multi-office firm you will be responsible for supporting the tax partner in providing advisory services to a variety of high turnover clients. Initially, you may take accountability for the associated compliance for these clients, only later to develop into a more reviewing and advisory/ tax planning focused role. This position will involve a considerable amount of client liaison and relationship building via email, telephone and face to face. The ideal candidate will also be able to spot new business opportunities and bring new work into the practice, as well as cross selling between departments.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this personal tax job, you will have experience of managing your own portfolio of personal tax clients from within a reputable practice and advising them on tax matters. The ideal candidate will be studying towards, or qualified CTA/ACCA/ACA. This role requires someone that is driven, proactive and possesses excellent communication skills.
