You will work as part of a small and welcoming Tax Team within a medium-sized Private Client Department. The culture is describes as friendly and relaxed, with a brilliant work-life balance. This firm had experienced continued growth via acquisition, thus is keen to make an addition to their Tax Team, either on a full-time or part-time basis.

Your new role
Managing a portfolio of private clients, you will be responsible for all aspect of tax compliance work for individuals and trusts, as well as getting involved in executry tax. You will also support with trust accounting and tax planning, performing research in regard to the latter. This may cover the winding up of trusts, releasing equity from property trusts, looking at Capital Gains Tax allowances, and more widely ensuring the minimisation of tax for clients. You will also complete some administration tasks and be present at client meetings. This position offers a lot of opportunity to develop, where you will be encouraged to liaise directly with clients and build business, should you desire this route.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a private client specialist with a proven track record over a minimum of 5 years' of delivering personal tax compliance. Ideally you will have some knowledge of trusts and have examples of supporting with tax planning. You will be enthusiastic and motivated with excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills. Experience of CCH tax software will enhance your application.
