Undoubtedly this is a remarkable opportunity for an experienced tax professional to gain "the best of both worlds" by joining a medium-sized Private Client Tax Team - offering relative autonomy and encouraging independent thinking - whilst being a part of a substantial, vibrant and highly reputable firm with variation, high-quality work and progression. The firm offers brilliant flexible and agile working (albeit the role will be fulfilled remotely initially given present circumstances). Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered, and you may be based from either one of their three Scottish offices depending on your location.
Your new role
You will manage and support client relationships, assisting with or leading in the delivery of solutions to stand alone projects, and partaking or overseeing the compliance process for key private clients depending on your level. As an invaluable member of the Scottish Tax Team you will develop your network and facilitate or support business growth in respect to existing and new clients. Further to regular client interaction, you will lead by example, serving as a model and mentor for junior members of the team and championing best practice.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be ACA, CA and/or CTA qualified and demonstrate suitable technical knowledge in respect to private client tax compliance and technical queries. Being part of a team and firm with exciting growth plans you will be equally motivated and ambitious. Further to this you will demonstrate genuine passion for client service with excellent organisation and interpersonal skills.
