With dramatic and consistent growth, this firm is looking to make a new addition to the Personal Tax Team in Glasgow, either at Assistant or Senior level. This position includes ATT and/or CTA study support should the individual wish to pursue or continue a professional qualification. Flexible and agile working is available post-pandemic. Your new role
As a Tax Assistant or Senior, you will prepare tax returns for a wide range of private clients, and undertake research in relation to tax enquiries and ad-hoc assignments as they arise. You will also provide support on planning projects and research technical issues on advisory work such as asset/business sales, succession planning and tax residency issues. This firm prides itself on collaboration, and encouraging ideas and development, so they will facilitate your continuous learning and growing, allowing your day to day work to reflect the complex issues which arise theoretically in the professional qualification studies.
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful applicant, you will with have experience of personal tax compliance provisioning in a practice environment. This may be complimented by ongoing studying of ATT or CTA, or more extensive practical knowledge. You will be a good team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
