Your new company
National firm seeking to recruit at Tax Semi-Senior or Tax Senior level to further enhance the offering provided by the team in Birmingham. This firm has demonstrated significant growth over recent years including very positive results in the last year in the Midlands.

Your new role
The successful candidate will look after a portfolio of clients and will manage the tax return process liaising regularly with clients and HMRC. The client base includes a mixture of individuals, partnerships and Directors and so encompasses a range of income levels and tax requirements. The role will be predominantly focused upon tax compliance work alongside providing general advice and identifying opportunities for tax planning work.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will be competently able to prepare tax returns and will be able to demonstrate experience in a similar position in an accountancy firm. Relevant part or full accountancy or tax qualifications will be beneficial, however experienced personal tax professionals who do have not pursued professional qualifications will also be considered. The ability to manage deadlines, liaise effectively and professionally with clients and demonstrate drive and flexibility will also be key.
