Private Client Tax Assistant Manager

Independently recognised for the strength of its Private Client Tax team, our client is a leading adviser to HNW entrepreneurs, business owners, non doms, wealthy families and family offices. They are a modern, forward-thinking firm embracing hybrid working and with a strong track record of promoting their AMs and Managers through to Director (and Partner) grade.

Demand for their expertise continues to grow and they are now keen to appoint an additional Private Client Tax Assistant Manager. The incoming individual will take responsibility for a high quality portfolio of domestic and international HNWIs. They will assist Directors and Partners with ad hoc tax planning projects, as well as overseeing the more complex areas of their clients’ annual personal tax compliance.

They will perform a key client relationship management role, as a primary point of contact. Strong communication and relationship management skills are therefore essential, as well as an excellent understanding of UK income tax, CGT and IHT. Experience of advising business owners on areas such as entrepreneurs relief, residence, domicile and remittance is also important. The individual will also be fully CTA qualified.

The role would suit an existing Assistant Manager looking to develop their career and position themselves for swift progression to Manager and Senior Manager level. Alternatively, an experienced private client Tax Senior looking to step up to AM grade for the first time.
