Your new role
As an R&D analyst within this Firm's Manchester Tax Team, you will be client facing, engaging with technical and financial teams, conducting technical interviews and undertaking analyses for R&D tax claims for submission to HMRC. Working as part of a project team to support clients in their claims.
- Assisting in Technical interviews with clients to understand their R&D activity
- Analyse technical documentation and data from clients to support the development of R&D claim methodologies
- Writing reports on technical interviews on how client's technical activity is R&D for HMRC
- Assisting with delivery of projects to ensure R&D claims are submitted for clients
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate for this Manchester based R&D analyst role will have degree level Computer Science or strong technical IT skills, along with an IT/CS background to support you in understanding a wide range of different technologies and their application in a variety of business and industry sectors. Strong communication skills and good interpersonal awareness to liaise with clients effectively. Have a critical engineering mindset and be technologically curious.
