  • You will be working with one of the leading R&D Tax Teams in the North West and getting involved with a wide range of innovative clients who are at the cutting edge of their respective industries and sectors

Client Details

This is a very successful and fast-growth finance firm based in Manchester City Centre. The business offers a range of service lines including audit and accounts, forensic accounting and corporate finance. The tax team department supports a wide range of businesses, ranging from SMEs to worldwide brands. The R&D Tax team helps innovative businesses across a range of sectors, leveraging technology and a digital approach to deliver excellent customer service


The successful R&D Tax Consultant will be responsible for, but not restricted to:

  • Contributing to the efficient and successful delivery of R&D Tax services to clients
  • Ensuring R&D qualifiable activities are compliant against the appropriate tax legislation and are documented accurately
  • Collaborating on existing client projects and supporting businesses in an advisory capacity
  • Building relationships both internally and externally with clients to identify new R&D opportunities, managing client expectations and ensuring a world-class service throughout
  • Helping win business by proactively seeking opportunities for new work and providing world-class service to existing clients
  • Assisting in the delivery of a variety R&D tax projects, delivering technical excellence and following a proactive business-driven approach


Ideally the successful R&D Tax Consultant will:

  • Be partly or fully ATT/CTA qualified (or nearly qualified)
  • Have a minimum of two years tax experience, ideally in R&D
  • Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret existing and new R&D tax legislation
  • Have demonstrable experience of successfully managing client relationships and building internal networks
  • Have strong technical skills, attention to detail and commitment to personal growth
  • Be a hard-working self-starter who is looking to grow, succeed and be part of something fun
