Creative Tax Recruitment
Who You Are
You’ll be a qualified tax professional that already has some experience working in a tax environment. In the past, you’ll have had exposure to a variety of complex tax assignments and will be CTA or ACA/ACCA qualified (or willing to work towards qualification). There’ll be further opportunities to add more qualifications to your CV via the firm, too.
This role will be varied and will encompass various tax aspects but will primarily deal with R&D tax credits. You’ll form part of the tax advisory services team, working with more senior members of the firm to deliver great results both on time and within budget.
On any given day, you could find that you’re working on any number of tasks. These could include complex corporate tax compliance and the identification and preparation of R&D tax credit claims. As part of this process, you’ll work closely with the R&D lead manager and partner.
You may also find that you’re working on EMI options, as well as matters relating to EIS/SEIS. Corporate finance transaction tax advisory and due diligence, as well as corporate demergers/reconstruction, will also form part of your duties on occasions.
Above all, you’ll work to maintain and develop the reputation of the firm. You’ll do this by submitting first-class work and investigating and managing problems as and when they arise, including liaising with other departments within the firm.
You’ll have an ongoing interest in tax affairs, ensuring that you always deliver high-quality, up to date advice, and will carefully manage assignments so that they’re always delivered on time and within budget.
