Leading professional services firm is looking for a Senior Manager to join their successful and leading tax team. This group is growing quickly and is heavily invested in. The successful candidate will have a clear path to grow within the firm and all the support necessary to grow the business accordingly.

You will be working alongside privately owned and private equity backed businesses, the firm’s Senior Managers share their client's stories as they grow. You will experience what it’s like to deliver value over the long term and make a meaningful contribution to your successes by help solving important problems and manage risks. This team is known for their good work-life balance, and part time working is possible for the right candidate. 

Experience of delivering advisory work to mid-market businesses is required, as well as the kind of skills that any Senior Manager in practice would be expected to display:  portfolio management, delegation, day-to-day client handling etc.

We are looking for an individual with strong corporate tax knowledge, but ideally has experience or a desire to broaden this knowledge into a mixed tax role. The role will focus on servicing existing clients along with growing the business. Projects will be varied and wide ranging, so for example from outbound expansion to shareholder planning to transactions to innovation-based tax reliefs. You will receive full support from the Partners, and from internal technical specialists based in the region and nationally.

Essential skills:

  • Practice-trained finance professional with a relevant professional qualification (eg ACA/ACCA/CTA)
  • Experience of advising privately-owned businesses on a variety of tax matters
  • Strong interpersonal skills including experience of client handling and sustaining relationships over a period of time
  • Analytical skills and an ability to solve complex problems in a collaborative and creative way.
