Senior Payroll Officer

£25-26,000 per annum
Well this is interesting! A brand new payroll position has been created in this leading business.... you will be managing the end to end payroll process for over 250 employees. You will need to be very experienced in the payroll field and ideally will have experience of payrolls with varying shift patterns and complexities such as P11D and Ex-Pat payroll. There may be a systems implementation in the works, so some experience of implementing changes with systems or policies would be advantageous, as would SAGE Payroll experience.
You won't be managing any direct reports or team members, but this role comes with a very high level of responsibility......you will be the first line of contact for everything salary and pay related, so you will need to be confident, assertive and efficient, but also have a real talent for building rapport and developing good working relationships. You will naturally have an excellent understanding of payroll legislation and be an expert with auto enrolment and RTI process. You will also be involved in a wide range of the HR admin duties...... so this is a great role if your want to expand and develop your "personnel powers"!
