This global leader in real life entertainment delivers over 6,000 hours of original programming each year in more than 200 countries and territories and 50 languages.

They are looking for someone to cover a maternity leave for a 9 month contract, supporting the Tax Reporting Lead.

 

Main responsibilities

  • Responsible for quarterly and year end US GAAP reporting requirements for all EMEA entities. This involves working closely with EY co-sourcing Team and Finance
  • Responsible for SOX process's and controls with quarterly sign off and including self certication to Financial Compliance. This involves working closely with EY co-sourcing Team
  • Oversee  global compliance arrangement with EY for entities outside the US
  • Monitor and track tax audits to assess impact for US GAAP reporting including liaison with EY US and identifying opportunities to automate the process
  • Provide information as required for tax audits including working with external professional advisors on reply to tax authorities
  • Responsible for EMEA tax payments and cash forecasting
  • Responsible for EMEA financial statement tax disclosures including working with Finance and local EY tax teams and EY London co-sourcing Team
  • Review and approve EMEA tax returns prepared by external advisors
  • Responsible for SAO annual certification in respect of corporate tax and governance including working with Internal Audit
  • Assist with WHT compliance
  • Assist the Tax Planning Team on restructuring
  • Ensure accurate reporting of M & A transactions from a US GAAP and Local Statutory perspective
  • Work with EY to ensure Tax Reporting Tool
  • Work with EY to identify process improvements for GAAP
  • Assist with HMRC queries and annual HMRC business review
  • Assist with ad hoc requests

 

About You

  • CTA, ACA qualified or equivalent
  • Strong tax reporting and tax accounting background
