Your new role
Seeking to recruit a Senior Associate Tax Accountant for the high profile national Tax team to be based in the Manchester office. The Tax team supports corporates (private, public or third-sector), partnerships funds and UK resident and non-resident individuals with market-leading tax expertise and decisive tax advice across the UK and beyond. Our clients trust us with a wide range of tax matters, including the sale and purchase of companies and businesses, the acquisition, disposal or development of properties; joint ventures; group restructuring and reorganisations; the structuring of corporate finance; payroll and employment taxes; customs and excise duties matters; devising share schemes or employee benefit arrangements; and supporting them in the resolution of tax and tax-related disputes.
This role in particular will have a focus on tax aspects related to corporate transactions and restructuring, employment taxes and employee incentives and property transactions including development and investment. We can offer access to high-quality work from clients operating across a variety of sectors and offer direct client contact and look to our Senior Associates and Directors to win the trust of these clients by focusing on excellence in client delivery. The company provides a supportive and collegiate working environment within this practice and will expect the Senior Associate / Director to mentor the less qualified members of the Tax team.


What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for candidates with a solid corporate tax background, obtained within a similar commercial environment. The role will be client facing, working within a busy team in a progressive environment. We are therefore keen to hear from candidates who share the values of teamwork and client focus. Candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to work well within the wider team, to self-motivate and to demonstrate a real desire to develop their career, while also developing other team members.
