A Global Design and Creative Group requires a Tax Manager to support its Tax and Finance function

A global design and creative business seeks a Tax Manager to support the finance function of the group in its flagship London office.
Your new role
Reporting to the Global tax Director and Regional Finance Director you will be the first point of contact for all tax matters within the Europe and Middle East regions, which includes the UK, Munich, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Doha.
You will provide proactive and sound tax advice to the regions in all areas of taxation in conjunction with the global tax team advising on tax compliance for all branches and legal entities, including income taxes, VAT/GST, stamp, import/export, property taxes, tax incentives, and transfer pricing documentation requirements.
You will be expected to prepare returns and supporting documentation in partnership with the regional accounting teams and external vendors; manage tax audits for the Europe and Middle East regions; develop and maintain relationships with tax authorities and external tax advisers as appropriate.
You will assist the global tax team and external tax advisors on global income tax planning, structuring initiatives and the development and implementation of tax policies, procedures, and internal controls performing tax risk assessments for all current and future countries in which the business has its operations.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified Accountant and or a Chartered Tax Adviser. You will have experience of dealing with the tax affairs of multi territory organisations specifically within the EMEA region and specifically with UK and EU VAT/GST. Ideally you will have a mix of public accounting and industry corporate tax experience.
Strong communication skills with the ability to establish collaborative working relationships and the ability to remain flexible and compromise in the face of change in a growing environment.
