A multinational automotive company is currently looking to employ a Tax manager. It is an Italian /American corporation and currently the world's largest auto maker.
Your new role
The company is looking for a Tax Senior Specialist that will work within the Tax department who will work alongside the country Head of Tax. You will follow the corporate guidelines and autonomously act as a focal point for tax and fiscal issues, providing professional advice to the assigned Clients and, if necessary, activating the support of other tax specialist.
What you'll need to succeed
You will directly manage tax compliance and provide professional tax consultancy to Clients. You will analyse and control tax risks arising from the Group activities in the country. You will provide timely feedback on the current status of the tax activities carried out to Clients.
You will get a great chance to manage the entire tax workflow, both from operational and process side. You will have a Master's degree in Economics or Accounting or Law. Around 3-5 years of experience in the tax area of manufacturing companies or advisory firms.
You will have good knowledge of Corporate Income Tax, VAT and other Indirect taxes, preferably within the UK regulatory context. You will be have Good knowledge of IFRS accounting principles will be a plus. You will have an ability to communicate and adapt quickly to different interlocutors.
