We have an exciting opportunity for Tax Manager & (Tax Senior Manager) to join a market leading transactions team.
This high-level team work very closely with Chief Officer-level directors of privately-owned and Private Equity-backed companies, key contacts within Private Equity houses or other potential purchasers, so client interaction will be required from day one. You work with the firms management team where you will be reviewing / analysing the firms equity and share option incentives are structured in a commercially and tax efficient manner, in order to align interests between management and the investors and to motivate and retain key executives of the business.
The role would involve working on the set up of new share option plans and other share plans (both tax-advantaged and non-tax-advantaged) or advice in relation to existing plans for example if the company has outgrown EMI share option qualifying conditions or advising on the sale of a company with employee shares and share options and ensuring the expected tax reliefs are obtained.
For the Manager level role, you will ideally be at CTA qualified level (potentially awaiting your forthcoming CTA results), have an excellent client manner, who enjoys working & solving complex tax planning issues and have a background and a passion for developing junior members of the team. This is a fantastic role for someone who is looking to build valuable front-line transaction and commercial experience and enhance their technical and client handling skills.
