Tax Senior Leadership Role (Deputy Assessor)

Would you like to work in a challenging and diverse senior leadership role which has a huge impact on the Isle of Man’s economy?
 
Every day is different in the Deputy Assessor position, working with and supporting the Assessor you will work with domestic and international tax policy. You will be a focal point of technical expertise in relation to the direct taxation system of the Isle of Man, using this expertise and your knowledge and skills you will contribute to the development and delivery of the Island’s taxation strategy.
 
Being a key member of the Senior Leadership Team within the Income Tax Division, you will establish yourself as a professional role model to the Division’s 130 + staff members. This role will require you to manage senior technical staff members ensuring there is a strong focus on technical development. Everyone in our team takes pride in the work they do and works very hard for the Isle of Man in a friendly, supportive and knowledgeable environment.
 
This role could take you around the world representing the Isle of Man as part of our international tax policy work including engaging with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the European Commission.

About the Island and relocating
