The Opportunity

Coming off consecutive years of double-digit growth since '15, my client - a Top 10 practice - is expanding their Transfer Pricing Tax function in an effort to achieve their 50% growth target by 2022.

Based in London, the practice is widely regarded as having one of the best and most experienced Transfer Pricing teams in the country, and a portfolio of clients to match. Led by an impressive Partner group, and supported by a large delivery function, the team have overcome ambitious targets and already 15% ahead of target this year.

The result of this has been a significant increase in their portfolio and presents the need to expand the expertise of the team.

The Candidate

You're expected to bring demonstrable transfer pricing experience, ideally with clients across FTSE 100, 250 and 350.

In an ever-changing regulatory environment, you'll be responsible for providing up-to-date advice while overseeing a team of specialists ranging from newly qualified to experienced managers and liaising directly with Directors and Partner in the team.

In order for the practice to continue its growth, you'll be required to proactively engage with clients and identify the areas of their portfolio to which you can provide additional value. As a result, you'll be able to demonstrate a track record of winning business.

  • Significant understanding of and previous experience within transfer pricing tax
  • Specialist knowledge and ability to deal with complex transfer pricing issues
  • Strong UK Transfer Pricing experience
  • Experience dealing with senior client management and key stakeholders
  • Ability to identify and act on new business opportunities
  • Ambitious self-starter, driven for growth
  • CTA and / or ACA qualified or equivalent
