A well-known leader in the Education Sector is seeking to appoint a VAT Manager on a permanent basis. Reporting into Finance Director, you will take the lead role on key deliverables around UK VAT with some Corporation Tax. As the business evolves you will have scope to work on a wide range of tax advisory projects on a truly global scale.

Your role as Tax Manager

  • Ensuring The Group meets all compliance obligations for VAT
  • Provide the CFO and senior management team with tax advice and guidance to influence operational and strategic decision making
  • To be proactive in identifying developments within the Group with potential tax implications, also changes in VAT and corporation tax legislation

What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA/CTA/ATT qualified
  • Strong knowledge across both VAT with some Corporation Tax experience
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • An enquiring and analytical mind, together with strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous improvement
